My Barcelona trip

There is only one word that can describe my school trip to Barcelona. Amazing. All the days out that we had and the places that the teachers had organised for us to go to see were definitely something I’d remember for the rest of my life. For example, we went to the stunning Sagrada Familia which is a Catalan Modernist style Basilica, originally thought of by Gaudi, it has taken hundreds of years to construct and is still being built today! We also went to the Picasso Museum, where we could see the best of Pablo Picasso’s beautiful artwork on show for the public to see. But my absolute favourite place has to be the Camp Nou. In Catalan language this means New Field. We could go through the Barcelona trophy room and marvel at the successful history of the Barcelona football club in Spain, Europe and the whole world in fact. As well as the team trophies, they also had the Ballon D’or and Golden Boot of Lionel Messi, debatably the best player in the world.
